Gingerbread Man Body and Brain Craftivity!

Today, we took our gingerbread theme into social skills and used a cut out gingerbread man to illustrate body and brain in the group {Michelle Garcia Winner}.  After our lessons on what it means and looks like to keep your body and brain in the group we completed this craftivity!  I am smitten over how cute they turned out.

Then of course, when I asked, "what will you tell your parents about we did in social skills today?"  A quietly raised hand, with a wait to be called on stillness, and perfectly natural eye contact {now that's a body in the group} boy responded, "We learned about keeping our body and brain in the group so that our teacher knows we are listening!"  Bada bing!  Cute little gingerbread man with a purpose, that's my kind of learning.
