Welcome to The Frenzied SLPs Gobble Up Holiday Goodies Linky Party!  I am so glad you stopped by and I sure hope you visit all the link ups below to find out how we all plan to gobble up some holiday goodies.

While I gobble up all the rolls, turkey, and mashed potatoes this Thanksgiving I will also be eyeing up some holiday goodies, both for myself and my speech room.  I am a die-hard Black Friday and now Cyber Monday shopper!  For all you naysayers, let me explain my yearly MUST DO!

Thanksgiving is all about family and friends, as well as appreciating what we have.  I am blessed with a wonderful family, friends, healthy and happy children, a career that not only provides, but one in which I am passionate about, and not to mention all the needs and wants a girl could ask for! Thanksgiving is also about tradition.  My dear mom shares my love of shopping for a good deal and so our tradition to head out into the Black Friday madness continues.  I love the preparation of creating and organizing the list, the excitement of the hunt, the overall atmosphere, the anticipation, and of course the accomplishment of finding those perfect treasures.

So if you decide to venture out with me this Black Friday, don't forget to remember your therapy room.  Games, or as I like to refer to them as reinforcement, will be plentiful and possibly bargain priced.  Here is a short list of some of my favorites.

Candyland
Hedbandz
Pop the Pig
Zingo
Spot it!
Left Right Center Dice Game
Jenga
Pop-up Pirate

Toss Up!

Don't forget about Rory's Story Cubes!  These beauties are great for many therapy targets!

If you follow me on Instagram @sparklleslp, you know I found this gem at my favorite #tjmaxx.  Joy at the touch of a button!

Now let's talk Cyber Monday.  Besides having to take my preschooler to school in the afternoon, I will be staying in my pajamas extra long searching for deals.  Our district chooses to work the Wednesday before Thanksgiving in exchange for the Monday after as a day off.  My cyber shopping might include ThredUp and Teachers Pay Teachers.  Sale or no sale these sites are a bargain hunters dream.  If you don't know about ThredUp and you enjoy fashion on a budget, you should really take a look at this online consignment shop.  I'd be happy to send you a coupon code if you send me an email at 1sparklleslp@gmail.com (I know, shameless plug, but I'm obsessed with the polka dot box that arrives!).

Let's face it, Teachers Pay Teachers has changed the way we provide therapy.  From screening and assessment resources, RtI products, to progress monitoring forms, book companions, grab and go materials, print and go time savers, and no print activities, TPT is a one stop shop for your therapy room!  Best part, you won't even come close to breaking the bank.  However, hoarding is a common practice.  Here are some holiday goodies from my store that I hope you check out.

I have a little addiction with book companions in therapy and my students are pretty sure it's a healthy one!

I directly service students with articulation errors through Response to Intervention. In order to manage this addition to my workload and provide a more effective program, I developed Articulation Fluency Packs. I've bundled the sounds I frequently use with my students.

If you have not yet viewed the Gifts of Gab ebook, organized by Activity Tailor and Speech Room News, make sure to download your FREE copy and start shopping and downloading!  You are sure to gobble up some holiday goodies.

Just in case you over indulged in Black Friday shopping, here are a couple FREEBIES to gobble up! One for now and one for later!

Whew!  You made it to the end!  Thanks for sticking with me.  Now don't waste any time checking out the other link ups below.  What are you looking forward to gobbling up this week?

5.  Three winners will be chosen after the rafflecopter closes on 11/13/2015.

While there are endless reasons I have to be thankful and grateful, I'm choosing to share just a few. For starters, as I mentioned in my opening line, being a member of The Frenzied SLPs is simply amazing. Starting this blog as well as creating for Teachers Pay Teachers has opened a whole new avenue that fits perfectly with my love of organizing and creating.  The added and unexpected benefit...meeting many new SLP friends from across the country.

If you follow my blog or my favorite social media platform, Instagram (@sparklleslp), you might know that I have the privilege of being a mom to three children, currently ages 4, 6, and 10.  From horseback riding, lacrosse playing, dancing, swimming, karate, gymnastics, school party preparation, homework tackling, daily chores, nightly reading, routine following, and who can forget the smiles and snuggles! Each day brings new adventures, delights, and challenges and I am ever so thankful and grateful for my children.

Each week during the school year, I am thankful to work with over 60 students from grades K-5. Their smiling faces, enthusiasm for learning, and persistence in overcoming learning challenges is what makes my job a passion.  Managing workload responsibilities and developing engaging activities that meet individual goals and standards truly is a challenge in which I am grateful.

I am thankful and ever so grateful that you chose to read my post.  Please write down my letter below.  I am the third blog in the hop.  Once you discover the phrase, enter the giveaway at the end of this post!
